comprising a Minton porcelain service with printed and coloured decoration with fifteen tea cups and sixteen saucers, a teapot and cover, a milk jug, a sucrier and cover and small stand and bowl, impressed MINTON marks, pattern number A4807 in red; a Present Company bone china service, decorated with insects, with twelve coffee cans and saucers; an Italian pottery service moulded in the form of strawberries, with five coffee cans and saucers; and an assembled gold and silver-lustred service, with eighteen coffee cans and twenty-two saucers (112)
Provenance
The 'strawberry' set were a gift to Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire (1920-2014) from the current Duke and Duchess, when Marquess and Marchioness of Hartington.
Condition
Minton service - two cups with haircracks.One saucer with glued repairs.
Present Company service- overall in good condition.
Strawberry service- minor glaze chips and flaking.
Lustre services- some overall wear to the lustre.
