Condition
The board appears sound. There is an area of loss and rubbing to the top of the viewing glass, with some further minor scuffs and knocks appearing elsewhere. There is some minor surface dirt and traces of matter in the lower left quadrant. Subject to the above the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
Float-mounted on a painted wooden backing board, and held within a painted wooden frame.
