Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and the turning edges are covered with black adhesive tape. Under close inspection there is very fine, hairline craquelure throughout. Also under close inspection, there are several minor thin, linear abrasions noted. There is some light wear to the pigment in the lower right corner. The tape along the right turning edge is lifting slightly. There is evidence of some minor, scattered unobtrusive surface accretions, including a small circular glossy accretion 15 inches from the top edge and 6 inches from the left edge. Roughly 15 inches from the top edge at the left center of the composition there is evidence of a small repair to the canvas. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is some minor inpainting associated with the aforementioned repair. Framed.
