Condition

This work is in good and sound condition overall. The surface of the bronze, particularly on the pants of the figure, is variegated and appears mottled. There are scattered dirt accretions and some small spots of loss, which are due to the sculpture previously being installed outdoors. The sculpture sits on a steel base that can be placed underground to stabilize the sculpture. A treatment quote for the work prepared by Wilson Conservation is available upon request with the Contemporary Art Department (212) 606-7257.
