Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There is light scattered surface soiling as well as light wear to the surface and along the edges. There are fine pinpoint accretions throughout. Under close inspection there is a faint horizontal stretcher impression visible at the center of the composition. There is a small vertical tear repair in the lower right, measuring roughly 1-inch, with some associated minor inpainting. The profile of the canvas is not disturbed by the repair and it is not perceivable when viewed from the front. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is evidence of some minor localized inpainting particularly in the black pigment near the bottom right. Framed.
