Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are three short hairline cracks towards the centre of the left edge, which appear to be underneath the resin. Further close inspection in raking light reveals some unobtrusive rub marks and media accretions in isolated places to the resin, and a tiny speck of loss to the extreme upper edge, approximately 10 cm. from the upper left edge. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals two spots of fluorescence, one towards the lower left corner and one to the centre of the lower edge, which appear to be irregularities to the resin.
