Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although they are slightly brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some extremely light handling marks to the exposed canvas to the right side of the right panel. Some light dust fibres have settled on the resin, which is in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. Extremely close inspection in raking light reveals very light evidence of wrapping material towards the lower edges of each panel. Further extremely close inspection reveals a few small, unobtrusive and shallow surface scratches in isolated places, notably towards the centre of the lower half of the composition of the left panel, and one running horizontally to the centre of the right panel. There is some light adhesive residue towards the centre of the lower half of the left panel.
