Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is darker in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals that the tape has been irregularly applied in places, which is in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working process. There is some very light canvas draw to most of the corners. There are small and unobtrusive media accretions scattered throughout, which have adhered to the tape, and signs of light wear to the edges, most notably to the upper edges.
