Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and the paper tone tends more towards a true white in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the depth of the original work.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. All handling marks and surface irregularities are in keeping with the artist's choice of found materials.

Catalogue Note
“Using newspapers, old toilet rolls and shopping bags, [Yuken Teruya] creates self-contained depictions of nature that imply rather than reflect the real thing. Composed of equal parts shadow and light, his dainty flora tease out the drama and power in items so commonplace they barely register.”
Megan Ratner
