Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original.
Condition: This work is in good condition. Only visible when examined out of its frame, there are three small losses towards the extreme upper left edge. Further extremely close inspection reveals two tiny and unobtrusive losses towards the lower right corner of the composition. There are a few short and stable drying cracks, mainly towards the centre of the composition, and two further hairline cracks towards the centre of the left and right edge. Close inspection reveals a small impact towards the lower left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
