Catalogue Note

“[My mother] lived in the worst period of the 20th century, but when I asked [her] about it she said that it was great because it was her youth. I realized that people’s perspectives about history are automatically cool. And it’s very sick. They don’t care that it was the Stalin years. They just remember that they were young and they had this energy and they fell in love.”
