Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the tonality of the stripe on the left tends more towards cream and the third stripe from the right tends more towards light purple in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals evidence of light handling and a faint rub mark along the upper edge and further handling in places to the silver foil, with an associated small and unobtrusive nick to the upper edge. There is some light canvas draw to the upper and lower left corner tips. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
