The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some minor thinning to the pigment in places, which is inherent to the artist's working process. Further close inspection reveals a slightly compressed impasto peak on the upper edge towards the upper left corner tip. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
