Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant in the original, and the background tends more towards true white. The soup at the centre of the composition tends more towards light red in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some evidence of light handling along the edges, with an associated faint rub mark to the extreme upper right edge, towards the upper right corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
