Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the left half of the composition is slightly lighter and the collaged element to the centre tends more towards yellow in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. All collaged elements are stable. There is evidence of light wear to the corner tips and in places to the horizontal edges. The lower edge of the frame is slightly loose. Very close inspection reveals an extremely faint drip mark in the blue pigment towards the centre of the left edge. All other surface irregularities are likely to be original. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
