Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount along the four edges. The left edge is very slightly deckled. There are artist's pinholes in the upper two corners. Very close inspection reveals some slight discolouration in all four corners due to adhesive residue, and pinprick sized dripmarks towards the centre of the left edge. Further very close inspection reveals faint handling creases in places and a tiny patch of fraying to the upper edge of the sheet, approximately 5cm from the upper left corner, all of which are possibly original.
