Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the golden nature of the brass visible in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals evidence of light wear, oxidisation and tiny scratches in isolated places. Two dents to the upper blade have been restored with corresponding slightly uneven patination which is expected to even out overtime.
