Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the colours towards the lower edge of the composition are deeper and richer in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to convey the painterly texture of the work. Condition: This work is in very good condition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.

Catalogue Note

"I almost never start with an image. I start with a painting idea, an impulse, usually derived from my own world."
