Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method. There is a pinpoint spot of foxing to the sheet in the unpainted white circle at the right and a pinpoint light brown spot accretion in the unpainted circle at the left. Under close inspection, there are faint abrasion marks visible in both of the unpainted circular areas. The inconsistency in texture to the black-painted circular areas appears inherent to the artist’s chosen pink medium and there are a few scattered circular spots of the pink that exhibit inconsistent drying texture one with a small spot of loss at left center of the sheet. The sheet is hinged verso to the matte intermittently along the edges. Framed under Plexiglas.
