Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer and the pinks are more vibrant in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to convey the metallic qualities of the gold paint visible in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Visible in the catalogue illustration is a network of drying cracks to the upper layer of white paint, which appears to be stable and is likely to be original. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
