Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to convey the texture of the impastoed areas and the sparkly nature of the glitter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals some light canvas staining to the upper and lower left corners and along the left edge, which is likely to be in keeping with the artist's working process. Further close inspection reveals evidence of light wear to the lower left corner tip. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
