Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant, and the white is whiter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the backing mount in several places and undulates. There are handling marks and creases towards the edges, which are irregularly cut. There are some networks of hairline cracks with associated small specks of loss to the superficial layer of paint, some of which are visible in the catalogue illustration. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
