Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged verso to the backing mount in two places on the upper edge. The upper and left edges are irregularly cut and the lower and right edges are deckled. Extremely close inspection reveals light evidence of handling along the edges and a few minute and unobtrusive spots of oxidation in places, as well as a tiny network of drying cracks to the green paint on the lower edge of the composition. There is residue from previous hinging in places to the upper and lower edges, which do not affect the image and are only visible when examined out of the frame.
