Condition
Pile ranges from approximately 1/10in. to low to knot heads and foundation in areas scattered throughout as visible in illustration. Scattered holes, with the largest approx. 1ft. by 1.5ft. and now partially with a patch. Another rectangular hole nearby with similar patch. Further losses as visible in illustration. Lower end with an approx. 6ft. long and 6in. wide reweave into field that gradually widens into the border. Some further smaller reweaves. Scattered foldwear throughout, scattered slits, some scattered repiling and some minor tinting. Sides with losses to selvages and overcasting, ends secured with a chain stitch and now with some nicks and losses in areas. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt, most particularly to one corner. Very handsome overall design, exceptionally large size, will enhance with restoration and cleaning. Sound fabric, supple handle.
