Condition
The mirror: Originally gilded and now stripped to walnut. Carved elements with restorations and replacements; some losses. The bottom portion appears to be later, maybe replaced or added in the 19th century. Mirror plate later with some crystallization. Mirror re-backed. Usual scratches, chips and abrasions consistent with use and age.
The console table: Good condition; sturdy. Losses and rubbing to staining, especially at base. Restorations and replacements to carving. Scattered losses; some detached but present. Age cracks, wear and chips throughout. Top with small losses to decoration and rubbing. Base and top are later, carving includes both earlier and later elements.
