Henry Jackson Ellicott (1847-1901) was an accomplished American sculptor who was best known for his monuments and cemetery sculptures. Notably, he designed the Civil War Monument in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York as well as other bronzes of generals and soldiers.
