The reverse of the canvas has been treated with a number of wax patches though there are areas where the original canvas is visible and unlined. The canvas is slightly rippled and buckled and there is evidence of stretcher bar marks. Surface dirt and dust. Under UV light, there are areas of scattered retouching throughout, many corresponding to the patches on the reverse. Frame and ready to hang.
