square, enameled in translucent yellow enamel over wavy engine-turned ground, inner border with border with dot and dash pattern, outer border reeded, mammoth ivory back with hinged scrolled strut, marked on base of frame with Fabergé in Cyrillic, workmaster's initials, and 88 standard, the strut with 88 standard mark and workmaster's initials, in original fitted wood case
