oval with Greek key handles, the body with swan and anthemia frieze, engraved with initials GEstruck K. Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard and scratched inventory number 22390

Provenance

This bowl was in the collection of Polish-born singer and socialite Ganna Walska (1887-1984).  According to her, it was part of a tea set that she received from Tsar Nicholas II on the occasion of her marriage to Baron Arcadie d'Eingorn in St. Petersburg, June 13, 1907; the initials were for Ganna Eingorn.  The marriage was dissolved in 1915, and she went on to marry five more times, amassing a significant collection of jewels and Fabergé.
