One of François Linke's signature pieces, the model for the present table was first exhibited at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900 (see Linke Index Number 610). In its subtle variants, it often displays the same gilt-bronze and glass removable tray top, and mounts designed by Léon Messagé.
