Condition
This decorative sofa is in reasonable conserved condition. The paint is overall distressed with flaking and losses. The underside is re-blocked. The front left leg with two breaks in need of attention. Ball feet chipped in places. One secure and restored break to the right armrest. Chips to some raised/carved detail. There are traces of woodworm which appears to be no longer active. The Aubusson genre tapestry, circa 1780, integrated with later weaving, tears and restorations. Would benefit from some workshop attention and the upholstery with a gentle clean.
