Installed dimensions are 134cm. high, 179cm. wide, 40cm. deep. Total weight of component parts is 387kg. This impressive chimneypiece would benefit from a deep clean. The mantelpiece with scuff and scratches. Chips and losses to extremities including areas of filler to frieze. Side jambs and mantelpiece with evidence of former installation. Sotheby's recommend gallery inspection. With repairs and consolidation and residue of cement beds to carcass which was used to ensure it was safe for use. Professional instalment necessary.
