in Louis XIV style, the hinged lid enclosing a red velvet-lined interior, with Bramah lock

Condition

This casket is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Minor tarnishing to the gilt bronze. The early pietre dure panels are in good condition and have some minor conservation.
