Condition

This smart chiffonier is in very good conserved condition. There are old minor marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The lock on the frieze drawer has been substituted at some point. The dummy drawer of the right external door is missing its gilt-brass key escutcheon, and also displays traces of restoration to an age-related crack to the veneer. Other restorations are visible on the front convex doors and on the left external door, where shrinkage and possible lifting to the veneer have been secured.
