  • life preserver 46cm. long; 1ft. 6in.
together with an ebony, ivory handled and silver mounted ceremonial presentation mallet with an inscribed plaque to the underside

Condition

Life preserver. Generally good with old marks and scratches. With adhesive sticky label. The mallet adapted with the handle of an ivory knife. The inscription reads, 'Queen Victoria board school presented to Mrs Smeet-Escott wife of the rector of Penarth...dated June 22 1887'. Old marks and scratches.
