comprising a Chinese famille-verte dish, 18th century; a Chinese imari dish, 18th century; four English Staffordshire transfer-printed plates, 19th century and a pair of blue and white cups and saucers
Condition
The Chinese imari dish is in overall good condition.
The famille-verte dish with frits and small chips to the rim as well as some wear to the enamels.
Four blue and white plates: the first with a large section with several restored pieces, approx. 16.5 x 4.5 cm, a firing flaw on the edge of the rim approx. 3 x 1.5 cm, and a hairline crack approx. 5.5 cm long. The second with small chips to the rim and a few hairline cracks, the longest approx. 5.5 cm. The third with a misfired section to the rim approx. 9.5 x 1.6 cm. The fourth with a chip to the rim and misfired section to the base.
Cups and saucers: both cups with a chip to the rim, one saucer with a large chip to the rim approx. 2 cm. long, and other minor chips, the other saucer with frits to the rim.
