It is not possible to inspect the porcelain beneath its mounts. The single vase has a broken neck which is now restored. There is a body crack at the shoulder with associated restoration. The original rings on the animal masks have been replaced with metal. One of the pair has the mouth ground down with associated chips. Both with later replaced metal covers. There are general glaze firing imperfection, enamel wear and surface scratchings.
