Description

  • the largest pair of candlesticks 37.5cm. high; 1ft. 2¾in.
together with two pairs of George III brass mounted mahogany candlesticks, the larger pair turned and fluted and the smaller pair turned and reeded (6)

Condition

Overall in fair condition. The candlestands with filler and minor losses to the boxwood chequer banding. The stem of one tray with a repaired break. The bases with cracks and old repairs. One with a loose stem. Some ring marks to the top. The candlesticks in generally good condition with variations to colour. With repairs and breaks to some of the stems and base. A reeded example with one loose nozzle.
