- the chamber pot 23cm., 9in. diameter
inscribed on one side with the verse 'This pot unto us is a present sent', the reverse printed with the verse 'Glide on my bark the summer's tide', the interior with a head and shoulders portrait speaking 'Oh! What do I See?'; also a group of seven pink lustre jugs of varying size with printed designs and verses,
Condition
The handle of the chamber has been broken off and repaired with restoration either side of the handle. Some discolouration around the rim.
One of the large jugs has a small chip to the spout and restoration to the handle. Another has restoration to the spout. A medium sized jug has a chip to the spout. One of the miniature jugs has a chip to the spout and chips around the foot. Another has a small chip to the spout and edge of handle and another has a small chip to the edge of the spout. Some overall crazing and brown staining, particularly to two of the larger jugs and one of the miniature jugs.
