Description

  • Masterpiece lantern grip and comb bit key
  • steel, on a modern brass and perspex stand

Condition

Overall the condition of the key is good, with some wear and minor dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is darkening and some oxidation to the metal. There are a few small original lacunae to the metal, and a few small nicks. There are some minor losses to the tracery in the rosette. There appears to be an original metal patching to one of the edges of the lantern. The stand is in very good condition with minor wear.
