- Five ward houses with keys
- steel, on modern brass and perspex stands
- German and French, 16th/ 17th century
Condition
Overall the condition of the keys and ward houses is good, with wear and minor dirt to the surface consistent with age and use. There is some darkening and minor oxidation to the metal in areas, and there is minor corrosion to some of the keys and ward houses. There are several nicks and dents throughout. There is particular wear to one of the ward houses with a dome and its key.
All keys fit into their ward houses and may be turned, though one only with difficulty.
The stands are in good condition with some minor wear, including some scratches.
