Description

  • Walnut, marble
  • 77.5cm. high, 75cm. diameter; 2ft. 6½in., 2ft. 5½in.
the marble inlaid top inset in a walnut border supported by a spread gadrooned pedestal on eight scrolling feet on an octagonal plinth

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The colours of the marble are vibrant. There are some cracks to the verde antico cross-banding. The base has signs of old worm which is no longer active and some minor restored breaks to the fluted stem. Old marks and scratches and chips to the veneer at the base commensurate with age and use.
