Description

- 223cm. high, 145cm. wide; 7ft. 4in., 4ft. 9in.
with an elaborately carved top cresting including floral swags, the bevelled mirror plate within a moulded frame, above a carved pierced C and S scroll apron
Condition
A very decorative mirror in overall reasonable condition. The apron has suffered some losses and potentially formerly had further carved elements, however this does not detract from the overall aesthetic. The mirror has been possibly re-gilt and has a good consistent finish. The original bevelled mirror plate has typical signs of silvering to the lower section. Some old signs of worm which is no longer active, notably to the top left mantle.
