Description

  • Satinwood, ebony, brass
  • 88cm. high, 93cm. wide, 39cm. deep; 2ft. 10¾in., 3ft. ¾in., 1ft. 3¼in.
with a later lacquered brass three quarter gallery over evidence of a former superstructure, the top drawer fitted with later handles and a pen and ink tray above two further drawers and cupboard doors fitted with wire grilles, on squat turned feet

Condition

A pretty piece that has undergone restoration at some point in its life. There are old marks and scratches throughout with wear and rubbing to extremities. Decorative and functional. Rubbing to lacquer on brass gallery,
