  • Mahogany, ebony, boxwood
with borders of crossbanded mahogany strung with ebony and boxwood, including modern leather squab cushions, restorations

Condition

Overall in reasonable condition. The caning with breaks to the base of the back which may benefit from restoration according to taste. Chips and losses to veneers and mahogany throughout. The front left leg has a repaired break. Screw holes top one side from something previously attached. There are old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. With later red leather drop-in cushions and arm rests.
