oval with gadrooned rim shell and scale embellished handles, the double-dome cover with gadrooned band, surmounted by a stylised pomegranate flower with tendrils, raised on four ornate scrolling legs on ball feet, engraved with a full achievement of arms, 'No=2 99=15' to underside, together with a later Victorian silver liner, Francis Boone Thomas, London, 1894
Condition
Very good gauge. The cover in good order. The base with bruise to interior of one foot visible to interior. Otherwise good condition. The liner with bruise to one corner of base. The rim uneven and bruised in places. Bright in colour. Fits well to earlier body.
