each body of pear shape rising from a short foot to a tall slender neck, painted around the exterior with three iron-red and gilt floral medallions divided by birds in flight reserved on an underglaze-blue whorl ground, the neck with iron-red and gilt floral strapwork, later European brass covers
Condition
One with a rim chip and a circular kiln flaw to the body on one bird's head. The other with a glaze loss/chip to the body (0.4x0.4cm). Minor glaze firing imperfections and surface wear to both.
