Description

  • each panel 165cm. high, 57cm. wide; 5ft. 5in., 1ft. 10½in.
adapted as a four-fold gilt wood framed screen, the verso upholstered in silk

Condition

In overall good condition. The canvases have been lined and are secure. There are signs of craquleur throughout which is commensurate with age. There are minor losses to the painted upper section of the cloaked male's panel. The later gilt panels have some minor losses to the gilding and old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
