  • 28cm., 11 in. diameter, 13.9cm., 5 1/2 in. high
circular bellied form, the double-skinned body embossed in high relief with rampant dragons among rolling waves, on a flaring circular foot, the underside stamped with character marks only

Condition

As typical with such high relief double-skinned Japanese pieces there are various small holes and spits around the highest points, especially around the neck area of the dragon, Various pin-head size dents. Some minor spitting to seam at bowl rim. Some signs of solder typical in construction. The foot is a little bruised. Generally good for example of this type.
