Description
- WOOL, FLATWEAVE
- approximately 406cm by 170cm; 13ft. 4in., 5ft. 7in.
Condition
Appears to have areas of extensive re-weaving along the central axis in the central medallions as the texture differs slightly. However they have been very well executed and are virtually unnoticeable. In the brown ground at one end there is a section which is slightly lighter in colour and stiffer in handle, possibly by something spilled and washed out, again this is hardly noticeable. There are some scattered dark marks which may improve with cleaning. With a strip of velcro running vertically to the underside, with two small square sections of velcro in the opposing corners. A very well balanced and striking work.
